Depending on the layout, a bedroom can be a tranquil haven of relaxation and rest or a tidy, elegant room with contemporary furniture. Irish bedroom furniture varies from stream lined metal bed frames to traditional stylish sleigh-beds in dark wood finishes. Other types of bedroom suites can be made from lighter woods for a more modern finish to fit in with the rest of decoration in the house. Painted beds add a different twist to the bedroom with an informal finish, or there are also the heavy duty beds for people who prefer a solid and sturdy bed. A stained wood finish provides the bed with a luxurious feel, whereas a light or natural stained finish gives off a more casual feel.
Irish bedroom furniture is available in lots of sizes that you may want for your room. In a kids room there are usually either a single bed or a bunk bed made from either wood or metal. In rooms that can accommodate more furniture for storage, there are plenty of options such as wardrobes, tallboys, chest of drawers, vanity tables, huge blanket chests and television stands are also available. In every bedroom there are one or two bedside lockers for your bits and bobs.
No doubt about it that buying a mattress is very tricky, it is often under estimated and when a customer goes to buy one they are overwhelmed with the options available to them. When choosing a mattress, the cost of it will be in the forefront of people’s minds but comfort should be the first thing you look for. Mattresses can come in a variety of thicknesses, quality and firmness. The most important thing to do is to hop onto the mattress and see if it is comfortable, as some people prefer a firm mattress for back support whereas others prefer soft mattresses
A crucial item in any bedroom without doubt is the bed! Sizes available in Ireland vary but usually come in three sizes: single, double and king size beds. When redecorating or building a new bedroom the most space in the room should be allocated for the bed you want. Any single bed is a perfect size for children or teenagers or could be used as a guest bed. A double bed is much wider than a single bed and is a better size for a couple to share whereas a king size bed is the biggest available and suits taller people which gives them an extra few inches on length. If required more sizes can be manufactured by special order. Remember that the actual bed frame will be bigger than the mattress you buy, you should consider this when measuring the room.
When redecorating your bedroom you should keep in mind to leave around 2 feet of space around the bed to make changing the sheets easier for you! Dressing tables and wide wardrobes need space for the doors to swing open without the obstructed. A bedroom that is filled with furniture will make it feel cramped and less cosy, you should just have enough to store all your clothes to hide them from being in view.
